We’re really excited to announce a new partnership with Genie Ventures, a successful Cambridge-based internet company which boasts a client list including Sky, BT, Hughes Electrical and Dwell (part of DFS), alongside other household names.
The company’s origins date back to 2004 and the launch of Broadband Genie, which has enjoyed a decade as one of the UK’s leading broadband comparison sites. The team has since successfully launched everything from coffee (Kopi, Big Cup Little Cup) to comparison sites (Crowdstorm, Office Genie).
Genie Ventures, founded in Cambridge in 2008, was created as an umbrella company in which to home these disparate niche brands; and has gone on to become one of the leading digital marketing and publishing organisations in the UK.
It now also has an extensive US presence, with marketing campaigns running for clients in more than 60 countries. It has shown continuous forward momentum, even through some tough economic times.
A key to this growth has been Genie Goals, a vibrant ‘pay per click’ (PPC) and Google Shopping campaigns agency. It is working with top retailers, sharing the knowledge and technology built up over a decade online – and earning speaking engagements at some of the world’s leading marketing events.
Genie Ventures is always on the lookout for smart individuals with a passion for marketing, technology and, just as importantly, getting things done. Ciaron Dunne, MD of Genie Ventures, says: “We’d love to speak with anyone interested in a career in online marketing, and are also very keen to speak with PHP developers.”
